Job Description -

Key Responsibilities

SSIS Migration & Modernization (Mandatory)

• Analyze and assess existing SSIS packages, ETL workflows, and dependencies.
• Design migration strategies for SSIS workloads to modern cloud-based or enterprise data platforms.
• Re-engineer ETL logic while preserving business functionality.
• Develop migration accelerators, reusable frameworks, and automation solutions.
• Perform end-to-end migration, testing, deployment, and production support.

Data Engineering

• Design and build scalable data pipelines.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes.
• Implement data quality and validation frameworks.
• Support batch and near-real-time data processing requirements.

Database Development

• Develop and Eligible to workimize complex T-SQL queries, views, procedures, and functions.
• Perform SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Implement data reconciliation and validation processes.

Data Warehousing

• Design and support enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Work with Fact, Dimension, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema models.
• Implement CDC and SCD strategies.

Cloud Data Platforms

• Develop and support cloud-native data integration solutions.
• Participate in migration of on-premises data workloads to cloud environments.
• Support CI/CD implementation for data pipelines.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering.

• 3+ years of SSIS development experience.

• Hands-on experience migrating SSIS workloads to:

• Azure Data Factory

• Microsoft Fabric

• Databricks

• Synapse Analytics

• Experience with data validation and reconciliation during migration projects.

• Ability to estimate migration effort and identify dependencies.
