    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Web Content Editors are responsible for the ongoing organization and curation of the product information contained within the Kroger Product Item Master (PIM), which can be viewed directly by a customer using Kroger’s Online Shopping capability.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • This hybrid position will be required to work in our Corporate Office at least two full days per week based on your team’s schedule
    • Ensure all items are set up within the PIM system supporting the digital presentation of products at the Kroger Company. This includes but is not limited to:
      • Item Validation, including setting up the proper Customer Facing Taxonomy (Department, Commodity and Sub-Commodity)
      • Set operational attributes to support item selection process
      • Review and edit compelling product marketing messages and descriptions
    • Business Process Functions:
      • Create/update Microsoft Office documents/spreadsheets
      • Create/update common files for use in reports
      • Assist in providing support for our internal databases
      • Update various team SharePoint sites to track item progress throughout process
      • Coordinate efforts with multiple departments and Kroger suppliers as necessary
    • Professionally represent PL Marketing while working with Kroger associates
    • Support special projects and additional initiatives as business needs arise

    MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent (English, Communications, Advertising or Marketing degree preferred)
    • Experience workingin the groceryindustrypreferred
    • Capacity to learn multiple computer systems and web-based applications
    • Skillanddiplomacyincommunicatingwithpeople
    • Able to interacteffectivelywithcross-functionalteams to accomplishcommongoals
    • ExperiencewithExcel, Wordand PowerPoint


    MINIMUM PHYSICAL ABILITIES: 

    • Must be able to:
      • Remain standing/sitting for several hours at a time
      • Lift 10-30 lbs. occasionally
      • Have unlimited manual dexterity


    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Administrative support positioninofficeenvironment
    • Retail or groceryexperience
