Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Web & Applications Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain web and desktop applications
• Support and enhance existing legacy applications and APIs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and IT teams to deliver business-critical solutions
• Participate in peer programming, technical design discussions, and code reviews
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability
• Identify technical challenges and communicate project risks to team leads
• Follow established coding standards, best practices, and SDLC processes
• Create technical documentation and support application deployment activities
• Develop solutions that meet functional requirements and design specifications
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Maintain strong working relationships across departments and stakeholders
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 4+ years of relevant experience
• Masters degree or Ph.D. may substitute for up to two years of experience per advanced degree
• Equivalent technical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Strong interest in learning new technologies and expanding technical skills
• Experience developing applications using C#, WPF, and/or ASP.NET
• Experience supporting and maintaining APIs and enterprise applications
• Knowledge of front-end UI and middle-tier application development
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of web services and application integrations
• Experience with Unit Testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and/or Behavior-Driven Design (BDD)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in the following technologies are highly encouraged to apply:

• ASP.NET Web API and RESTful Services
• Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle Database
• Git source control
• Azure DevOps
• Entity Framework or comparable ORM technologies
• jQuery or other JavaScript frameworks/libraries
• MVC controls and third-party UI component libraries
• Report development and reporting tools
• Manufacturing, industrial systems, or process control environments

Work Environment

This role requires regular on-site collaboration, with employees working on-site three or more days per week at the primary work location. Occasional local travel between facilities or other business locations may be required.
