Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ADA Level AA compliance for internal and external HR websites.
- Conduct accessibility audits and implement updates.
- Refine and optimize web content for diverse audiences.
- Support website redesign efforts with user-centered design principles.
- Provide accessibility training and resources to HR staff.
- Establish ongoing accessibility review processes and content standards.
- Enhance user experience through analysis and feedback.
- Develop accessible graphics and visual elements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in web design, Digital Media, Communications, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in website management, digital accessibility, UX design, or content strategy.
- Experience with ADA/WCAG 2.0 or 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.
- Proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and website governance practices.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g., WAVE, Axe, Siteimprove).
Preferences
- Accessibility certifications (e.g., CPACC, WAS, or equivalent).
- Experience in government, public sector, or large enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting intranet platforms and external public-facing websites.
