Job Title: Weaving Technician
Location: Burlington, NC
Shift: 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 3p-11p
Pay: $19-$27 DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial weaving equipment to meet production and quality standards.
- Set up weaving machines, load yarn, and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Use strong technical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment and identify process issues.
- Repair broken yarn and make minor machine adjustments to maintain production.
- Inspect woven materials for defects, broken threads, pattern issues, and other quality concerns.
- Monitor machine performance and production output to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating industrial machinery, preferably textile or weaving equipment.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions.
- Ability to identify quality defects and make appropriate adjustments.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous textile manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
