    Job Summary:

We are seeking a Wealth Strategist to join the Aligned Wealth team and serve as a trusted planning partner to advisors working with sophisticated ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. This role centers on comprehensive wealth planning — spanning cash flow, estate, tax, business succession, and philanthropic strategy — while also acting as a technical resource and eMoney power user for the Aligned Wealth advisory team. The ideal candidate brings deep estate and wealth transfer planning expertise, strong technical planning skills, and the client-facing polish to translate complex strategies into clear, actionable guidance.

    Responsiblities and Duties:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive wealth plans covering cash flow modeling, estate planning, tax planning, business succession, and philanthropic strategy for UHNW clients.
    • Design, model, and clearly explain advanced estate and wealth transfer strategies, including GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, and other sophisticated planning structures.
    • Serve as the team’s eMoney power user, building and maintaining sophisticated financial planning models and ensuring plans reflect each client’s full financial picture.
    • Partner directly with Aligned Wealth advisors to identify planning opportunities, prepare client-ready materials, and support client meetings with clear, well-organized analysis.
    • Act as a technical resource for the Aligned Wealth advisory team on complex planning topics, staying current on relevant tax law, estate planning techniques, and regulatory developments.
    • Translate complex, technical planning concepts into language that is clear, accessible, and actionable for clients and their other advisors (attorneys, CPAs, etc.).
    • Collaborate with internal investment, tax, and legal resources to deliver a coordinated, holistic planning experience aligned with each family’s mission and values.
    • Maintain accurate, well-documented client planning files and ensure adherence to firm planning standards and compliance requirements.
    •

    Qualifications:

    Required

    • CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation.
    • Demonstrated expertise in estate and wealth transfer planning, including GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, and related advanced strategies.
    • Strong proficiency with eMoney, with the ability to build, troubleshoot, and optimize complex financial plans.
    • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to present sophisticated strategies clearly and confidently.
    • Solid understanding of cash flow planning, tax planning, and business succession concepts as they apply to UHNW clients.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with high attention to detail.
    • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and enthusiasm for partnering closely with advisors.

    Preferred

    • Prior experience supporting UHNW or family office clients at an RIA, private bank, family office, or wealth management firm.
    • Additional credentials such as JD, CPA, CTFA, or an advanced degree in a related field.
    • Experience working alongside estate planning attorneys and tax professionals on integrated client strategies.
