Position Summary

A respected and growing wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor / Financial Planner to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance to individuals, families, business owners, and nonprofit organizations.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial planning expertise, exceptional client relationship skills, and the ability to develop customized strategies across investments, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and organizations.
  • Conduct client meetings to evaluate financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and recommendations based on changing financial circumstances and market conditions.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience through proactive communication and personalized service.

Financial Planning

  • Develop and implement customized financial plans tailored to client objectives.
  • Analyze retirement, estate, education, tax, insurance, and cash flow planning needs.
  • Monitor plan progress and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Educate clients on financial planning concepts and investment strategies.

Investment Management

  • Assist clients with investment planning, asset allocation, and portfolio strategy.
  • Review portfolio performance and recommend appropriate investment solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal investment professionals to ensure client portfolios remain aligned with goals and objectives.
  • Monitor economic and market trends that may impact client portfolios.

Business Development

  • Cultivate new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients.
  • Participate in professional organizations, industry events, and networking activities.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's advisory practice.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Partner closely with advisors, analysts, and support staff to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys, CPAs, and other professional advisors when appropriate.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate client records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • CFP® designation required or actively pursuing completion.
  • Experience in financial planning, wealth management, investment advisory, or related financial services roles.
  • Strong knowledge of retirement planning, estate planning, investment management, and wealth preservation strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and fiduciary mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Preferred

  • Experience working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Existing book of business or demonstrated business development success.
  • Series licenses and/or additional financial planning credentials.
  • Experience with financial planning software and CRM systems.
