    We are looking for a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in the continued development of our groundbreaking Electro-Chemical Metal Removal (ECMR) technology. This is a unique opportunity to work on a disruptive solution that is transforming well intervention and plug & abandonment (P&A) operations.

    About the Role

    In this role you will be reporting to the ECMR Project & Commercialization Manager and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to bring innovative concepts from design to field deployment. You will be involved in every stage of the development process, from engineering and prototyping to testing, validation, and operational support.

    This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys both detailed engineering work and hands-on involvement in tool assembly, testing, and field support.

    What Youll Be Doing

    • Design and develop innovative electro-mechanical downhole tools for well intervention and P&A applications.
    • Take products from concept through design, testing, qualification, and field deployment.
    • Integrate mechanical systems with electronics, sensors, and actuation technologies to deliver reliable solutions for harsh downhole environments.
    • Participate in hands-on prototyping, tool assembly, and system testing.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges and optimize tool performance.
    • Support field trials and operational deployments, translating real-world challenges into engineering solutions.
    • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure quality, performance, and efficient delivery.

    What Were Looking For

    Were looking for an experienced and hands-on engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and bringing innovative products to life.

    You likely have:

    • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • 5+ years of experience in downhole tool development within the oil & gas industry.
    • Experience with wireline and/or well intervention technologies.
    • A proven track record of taking products from concept and design through testing and field deployment.
    • Strong mechanical design skills and experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor.
    • Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, sensors, actuators, power transmission, and signal integrity in harsh environments.
    • Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, and qualification testing for downhole applications.
