Waterjet Buck & Tooling Maintenance Operator
Do you thrive on keeping production flowing? Imagine stepping up to the Polybond line to swap in a new set of form tools, then moving to Thermobond to prep the next changeover—fast, precise, and safe. You clean and stage form tools and waterjet bucks, verify tool-change equipment is in top shape, and coordinate loading and unloading so everything arrives exactly where it’s needed. When special projects pop up, you jump in—and you’re ready for additional tasks your supervisor assigns because you own the outcome.
Your Impact
- Perform changeovers of form tools on Polybond and Thermobond lines with minimal downtime
- Clean, organize, and stage tools and waterjet bucks for repeatable, high-quality results
- Inspect, maintain, and improve tool-change equipment performance
- Handle loading/unloading of tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Support special initiatives and other duties as directed by your supervisor
Skills and Experience
- Proven ownership, accountability, and the ability to work independently
- Driven, results-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic
- High sense of urgency and responsiveness
- Current HI Lo license—or the ability to secure one promptly
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent housekeeping aligned to 5S standards
- Completed lockout training with no violations
- Comfortable working required hours, including daily and weekend overtime
- Commitment to remain in this role for at least 6 months before pursuing other hourly production roles
- Demonstrated proficiency in tool/die/mold repair and setup
