Sunland Asphalt and Construction, LLC. is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to join our growing team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Operate water trucks safely on construction sites, road projects, and other work zones.
- Spray water on roads, haul routes, and work areas to control dust and maintain air quality.
- Provide soil moisture for grading, compaction, and earthwork operations.
- Fill and refill water tanks from approved water sources.
- Inspect truck, tank, pumps, hoses, valves, and spray systems before and after operation.
- May set up and tear down equipment.
- Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day.
- Load, transport, and distribute non-potable or potable water as assigned.
- Respond promptly to changing site conditions and operational needs.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Report equipment malfunctions, accidents, hazards, or safety concerns immediately.
- Work in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Support other construction activities and labor tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience is preferred.
- Fluent in English, i.e., able to speak, read and write English preferred.
- A current, Class A, CDL license in the state where the majority of work is being performed is required.
- A Hazmat or tanker endorsement may be required depending on position/dept./division.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and maintain a current medical card.
- Must pass a DOT drug test and a safety road test.
- Must have a clean motor-vehicle record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
