    Sunland Asphalt and Construction, LLC. is seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver to join our growing team.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Operate water trucks safely on construction sites, road projects, and other work zones.
    • Spray water on roads, haul routes, and work areas to control dust and maintain air quality.
    • Provide soil moisture for grading, compaction, and earthwork operations.
    • Fill and refill water tanks from approved water sources.
    • Inspect truck, tank, pumps, hoses, valves, and spray systems before and after operation.
    • May set up and tear down equipment.
    • Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day.
    • Load, transport, and distribute non-potable or potable water as assigned.
    • Respond promptly to changing site conditions and operational needs.
    • Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
    • Report equipment malfunctions, accidents, hazards, or safety concerns immediately.
    • Work in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
    • Support other construction activities and labor tasks as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
    • Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience is preferred.
    • Fluent in English, i.e., able to speak, read and write English preferred.
    • A current, Class A, CDL license in the state where the majority of work is being performed is required.
    • A Hazmat or tanker endorsement may be required depending on position/dept./division.
    • Must be able to pass DOT physical and maintain a current medical card.
    • Must pass a DOT drug test and a safety road test.
    • Must have a clean motor-vehicle record.
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
