Position Title: Water Treatment Plant Support Technician
Location: Corvallis, OR
Duration: 3-6 months
Status: Onsite
Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. (A&B Talent)
Pay Range: USD $28–32 an hour W2

Requirements / Who we are looking for:

1–3 years of experience in water treatment, wastewater, industrial water, environmental services, or a related field.
Previous experience supporting water treatment plant, industrial, environmental, or similar operations preferred.
Level 1 Water Treatment Operator certification is preferred but not required.
Ability to work under the direction of a licensed water treatment operator and follow established procedures.
Basic understanding of preventive maintenance, work orders, equipment, and facility operations.
Ability to perform basic laboratory testing and assist with equipment calibrations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety and operational procedures.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work a scheduled weekend-inclusive shift and maintain reliable attendance.
Ability to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments.
Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:

Work under the guidance and supervision of a licensed water treatment operator to support daily plant operations.
Complete assigned work orders and assist with routine facility and equipment maintenance activities.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to support the reliable operation of plant equipment and systems.
Assist with basic laboratory testing and related water quality activities as directed.
Perform and assist with equipment calibrations and ensure activities are completed according to established procedures.
Support general water treatment plant activities as assigned by the supervisor or licensed operator.
Follow all established safety, operational, and environmental procedures while performing assigned duties.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to work orders, maintenance, testing, and other assigned activities.
Communicate equipment, maintenance, testing, or operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor or licensed operator.
Work collaboratively with plant personnel to support efficient and reliable water production.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Water Treatment Plant Supervisor.
