    Description

    Project Partners is seeking an experienced Water Systems Supervisor with 5+ years of relevant experience to support water system operations on-site in the Signal Hill area. This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week, responsible for supervising daily water operations and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on water system knowledge and supervisory experience.

    As a Water Systems Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Lead and coordinate daily water system operations and maintenance, including wells, reservoirs, pump stations, pressure regulation, metering, flushing, valves, treatment facilities, and distribution system repairs.
    • Independently operate and oversee D4/T3 water system facilities, including a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant and granular activated carbon filtration systems.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable water quality, environmental, and safety regulations, while maintaining accurate operational logs, sampling results, meter readings, and required reports.
    • Supervise field staff, assign workloads, manage timesheets, and coordinate on-call, after-hours, and overtime schedules to support reliable system operations.
    • Oversee SCADA and automated water system technologies and coordinate key programs such as water sampling, valve exercising, hydrant flushing, backflow testing, and cross-connection control.
    • Inspect water system operations, repairs, and Capital Improvement Project installations for safety and quality, and respond to emergencies such as main breaks, pump failures, and water quality concerns.
