Boswell offers a rare, genuine blend of stability, mentoring by engineering excellence professionals, a "family feel" and growth options for a Resident Engineer or Senior Construction Inspector of Water Resources based at our South Hackensack, NJ Headquarters in collaboration with our Roadway Construction and Municipal Engineering Teams.

These exciting new roles, reporting directly to Boswell's Vice President of Construction Inspection, will be involved in day-to-day operations leading and managing all levels of engineers, inspectors and projects.

Water Resources Resident Engineer (PE) OR Construction Inspector (EIT) required

Due to continued growth in 2026, we are eager to add another Project Manager to our Water Resources Team in our South Hackensack, NJ HQ OFFICE. If you have the following skills and experience, we invite you to come grow with us!

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant water, wastewater, pump station, sewer, hydrant or related water work experience
  • A minimum of an EIT Certification is required while a Professional Engineering (P.E.) License is highly preferred.
  • Municipal Engineering experience and CEM Certified are preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the following:
  • water/ sanitary sewer conveyance systems installation, rehab or replacements
  • Watermain and/ or hydrant project experience
  • Wastewater treatment plant design and/ or construction
  • Hydraulic Modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with developing project scope, fee & schedule during proposal preparation
