About the Role:
Join SuYash Consulting, LLC as a Water Resources Project Manager, where you will lead innovative projects in water management and sustainability. We are looking for a passionate individual to drive impactful solutions in the DMV area, contributing to our purpose of protect and enhance natural habitats and commuter experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee water resources projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support project design.
- Design Stormwater Management, Drainage and Erosion and Sediment Control.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
- Lead project teams and mentor junior staff in water resource engineering practices.
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations affecting water resources management.
- Facilitate public meetings and presentations to communicate project objectives and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in water resources project management and engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MicroStation, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, GIS).
- Knowledge of Maryland Regulations for stormwater management and erosion & Sediment control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
