Responsibilities

  • Assists with and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design calculations for stormwater management systems and/or bridge hydraulic and floodplain studies, prepare sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work as required
  • Assists with planning, scheduling, and coordinating design work with the group
  • Review plans, details and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.
  • Support and coordinate with Highway, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineer design teams and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • Detailed-oriented, self-starter comfortable working in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Math Skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with any of HEC-RAS, HY-8, SRH-2D, HydroCAD, AutoDesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, MicroStation (including InRoads), AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred)
  • Familiarity with FHWA, USACE, and AASHTO design guidance is desirable
  • FE/EIT (preferred)
