Water Resource Engineer - Civil Engineering - Base Salary to 36.00/hour - Indianapolis, IN

• Our client, an established multidisciplinary engineering firm, is seeking a full-time Water Resource Engineer for its Indianapolis office. This role will support civil engineering and water resources projects involving water, wastewater, stormwater, treatment facilities, utility distribution systems, pump stations, and sanitary collection systems.
• The Water Resource Engineer will perform civil design, engineering calculations, and construction document development while gaining experience toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical design and engineering calculations for civil and water resources projects.
• Support water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management, pump station, water distribution, and sanitary collection system projects.
• Assist with civil engineering design for water, wastewater, stormwater, and utility infrastructure.
• Develop construction documents, engineering plans, and specifications under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Coordinate technical project information with engineers and other project team members.
• Support project-related engineering documentation and communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
• Experience supporting civil engineering, water resources, water, wastewater, stormwater, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 30.00 - 36.00/hour range plus bonus, profit sharing, 401k, full benefits, flexible schedule, tuition reimbursement, and paid professional dues and subscriptions.
