Water Process Engineer

SALARY: $130k-140k/yr.

LOCATION: Arizona

SCHEDULE: Full-time, Onsite, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm, Direct Hire

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, optimize, operate, and maintain ultra-pure water systems.
• Monitor water quality and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain reliable operation.
• Analyze system data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and prevent potential equipment or process issues.
• Lead or support UPW improvement projects, system upgrades, vendor coordination, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  
   

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, a master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience with UPW or comparable high-purity water systems in a chemical, semiconductor, or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of water purification technologies such as RO, DI, UV oxidation, ultrafiltration, and filtration.
  
   

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 This role requires regular walking and standing in manufacturing and industrial environments working around high-pressure systems and hazardous chemicals, including navigating equipment areas, stairs, and active workspaces while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). The position may involve occasional lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching, as well as working around operating equipment and in areas requiring adherence to site-specific safety procedures.
