Operates, services, maintains and checks equipment, instruments, pumps, valves; Takes readings of pressures, volumes, weights, levels, flows and other data, and records them on log sheets; Makes routine water quality tests; Performs maintenance on Water Division equipment, pumps, pipes, vehicles, buildings, structures and grounds; Collects samples, performs simple analysis, and records results; Installs, repairs, and inspects water lines, valves, pumps; Responds to calls and concerns from the public; Installs, reads, and repairs water meters; Locates and marks water lines; Performs after hours “on call” duties for the Department. Idaho Class “B or Higher” Commercial Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within six months of employment; Class I Water Distribution License or the ability to obtain one within 1 year of employment; Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.
