What this role is
- A consultative, sales-forward technician position serving homes and businesses
- A mix of recommending, selling, installing, repairing, and maintaining water heaters
- A chance to grow earnings through weekly-paid commissions on top of hourly pay
Your impact
- Recommend and sell replacement water heaters, filtration systems, and related upgrades during service calls
- Confidently present options, pricing, and value to close sales
- Install gas, electric, and tankless water heaters in compliance with code and safety standards
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance
- Use AI-powered sales coaching tools to review calls and refine your selling approach
- Educate customers on efficiency, performance, and total cost of ownership
- Maintain truck inventory, complete documentation, and leave clean job sites
- Coordinate with dispatch and installers for on-time completion
- Work overtime as needed because hot water emergencies can’t wait
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
What you’ll need
- Sales experience preferred; you’re comfortable presenting choices and asking for the sale
- 1+ year of relevant field experience (plumbing background preferred)
- Clear, friendly communication and strong customer service
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and handle field tasks
- Coachable, growth-oriented, and open to feedback
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record per company policy
