OPEN POSITION - WATER FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
As a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center (NAC), the Water Fitness Instructor is
responsible for providing students with a safe, enjoyable and educational water program while
continuing to relate to the needs of the aquatic patrons as a whole. They will be responsible for
monitoring activities within the fitness class to prevent accidents and provide assistance to
swimmers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum age of 18.
Preferred certificates in either Glide Fit or Cardio Wave, Aquatic Zumba or USA Water Fitness.
Ability to lead a safe, educational and enjoyable swim class for people of all ages, fitness levels and capabilities.
The physical, visual and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; that being to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations by providing prompt and effective service when needed.
Rate subject to experience, certification and qualification will be $19.00-$23.00 per hour.
