    Minimum Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience in the maintenance and repair of sewer sludge handling equipment to include brown bear, auger/aerator tractor, vactor/jetter truck, and excavator are required. Must possess a CDL/Class A. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must possess a Refrigerant Certification from an EPA-approved technician program in accordance with EPA, Section 609 of the Clean Air Act OR obtain the certification within 6 months of employment.

    Recruitment Notes

    The incumbent in this position will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical work to include diagnosing, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on sludge and construction equipment. This position will be tasked with servicing large stationary diesel engines and generators, as well as welding and fabricating specialized parts for equipment modifications. This position entails ensuring maintenance and repair of heavy equipment are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
