Description

The City of Springfields Environmental Services is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Waste Water Video Technician. This position will implement a system of sewer inspection and rehabilitation by inspecting active and new sewer lines using closed circuit television equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience, Education, and Training

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Civil or Chemical Engineering, computer sciences or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

AND

  • Two years direct experience with storm water, repairing or maintaining sanitary sewer systems.
  • Directly related work experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

PREFERRED

  • Experience repairing closed circuit video equipment.

Licensing/Certification

  • Must possess a valid Drivers License;
  • Must possess or obtain and maintain certification as a Solid Waste Technician and OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Training within probationary period.
