Multidisciplinary design firmis seeking a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join their Oklahoma City team as a subject matter expert!
Responsibilities:
- Advise internal/external teams on all wastewatertreatment issues
- As the subject matter expert on wastewater treatment,provide firm-wide direction, internal consultation, and services to clients
- Ensure all processes/systems comply with local,state, and federal regulations
- Prepare/review compliance documentation andreports
- Maintain reputation as technical expert bywriting papers, giving technical presentations, and/or regularly represent thefirm in professional/technical societies
- Produce quality work and ensure QC standardsare maintained
- Research/analyze wastewater-related data,trends, and emerging technologies
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Represent firm at professional organizations
- Lead/manage water/wastewater treatment projectsfrom design through implementation
- Prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Master’s degree in chemical, civil, mechanical,or environmental engineering preferred
- 10+ years of water/wastewater processing engineeringexperience
- PE License
- Strong technical background/experience inwastewater treatment, wastewater modeling, and regulatory compliance
Salary is commensurate with experience.
