Our client is seeking a Sitework Estimator to join their team in Apex. The Sitework Estimator is responsible for developing accurate, competitive cost estimates to support bid submissions and secure new construction projects aligned with business objectives. This role works closely with the estimating team to analyze project documents, evaluate costs, and support the full bid lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities -

- Review plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents for assigned sitework scopes.

- Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits to gather project-specific information.

- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses for earthwork and related scopes.

- Solicit, track, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.

- Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontract cost inputs.

- Coordinate with the bid lead to identify risks, clarifications, and scope gaps.

- Participate in internal estimate reviews, bid strategy meetings, and bid day support.

- Support project handoff, value engineering, and major change order pricing as needed.

Job Requirements -

- Bachelor"s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.

- 2+ years of estimating, engineering, or sitework construction experience.

- Knowledge of earthwork, excavation support, deep foundations, and dewatering.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and bid documents.

- Proficiency with AGTEK, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Strong understanding of estimating methods, cost controls, and pricing.

- Ability to perform accurate quantity calculations and cost evaluations.

- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.
