H2O is currently seeking a Wastewater Operator (Class IV) to join our team in Laurel, Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and operate wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Monitor plant operations and make adjustments as needed
- Analyze lab and operational data to maintain treatment performance
- Troubleshoot process, mechanical, and equipment issues
- Coordinate and support maintenance of plant equipment
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance documentation
- Lead and support lower-level operators
- Respond to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations
- Assist with inspections, audits, and regulatory coordination
- Enforce safety procedures and company standards
The Skills We Are Looking For
- Active Level IV Wastewater Operator License (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations
- Experience in municipal wastewater plant operations
- Ability to monitor and adjust plant processes and systems
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Leadership ability and experience supporting a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
