Description

Pro Resources is seeking a Wastewater Operator for a client in Burket, IN. The Wastewater Operator will be committed to operational excellence in a high-priority treatment environment. This position will require the individual to be responsible for operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment system to ensure compliance with regulatory standards adhering to our state issued permit. In addition to operating wastewater, this person will also be responsible for collecting line samples and performing titrations in our lab. This position is career oriented and will develop into a fully integrated management level position in time with developed skills and leadership. The successful candidate will be on a course to operate a complete waste treatment program from permitting to operation along with inspection and have full access to all needs once the established skills are proven.

Shift and Compensation 
  • 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6 AM-3 PM
  • Compensation is from 45,760 USD to 54,080 USD per year
Job Duties
  • Check various operational parameters in the plant
  • Sampling at various plant locations· Follow all safety practices and safe job procedures
  • Reading and recording data
  • Monitor gauges and plant equipment
  • Perform basic laboratory sampling and titrations
  • Maintain operator logs and data sheets
  • Perform assigned maintenance tasks inside the waste water room
Background Profile
  • 1-2 years minimum waste water operating experience.
  • Indiana Wastewater Class B Operator Certification, preferred.
  • Candidates with Class A but strong relevant experience may also be considered. Candidates hired without a Class B License must obtain and successfully test into the Class B Waste Water Operator License within twelve (12) months of hire or within a reasonable timeframe determined by Warsaw Black Oxide.
  • Must be proficient in the use of a computer and peripherals including Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be a strong communicator and self-starter.
  • Should be able to demonstrate organizational skills at the interview level.
  • Must be able to conduct inspections and communicate with State Agencies.
  • Developed skills at leading and organizing meetings is preferred.
