Make Waves in Your Engineering Career- Join us as a Wastewater Engineer! We're looking for a skilled Wastewater Engineer who's ready to make an impact! In this role you will ensure a consistent supply of high-purity process water while managing wastewater treatment and recycling systems, including RO/EDI operations and membrane optimization, in compliance with national water quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and optimize RO/EDI systems and ultrapure water production
- Manage wastewater treatment, recycling, and discharge compliance
- Monitor water quality parameters and troubleshoot process deviations
- Lead membrane maintenance, cleaning, and optimization programs
- Ensure compliance with environmental and water quality regulations
- Maintain process documentation, testing logs, and compliance reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or higher in Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering field
- 3+ years of experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment (semiconductor or solar manufacturing preferred)
- Working knowledge of RO/EDI systems and membrane technology
- Familiarity with environmental compliance and water quality standards
- Strong data analysis and technical documentation skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and walk throughout water treatment and utility areas for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally, including chemical containers and equipment
- Ability to wear chemical-resistant PPE (gloves, goggles, respiratory protection) for extended periods
- Comfortable working around treatment tanks, pumps, and chemical storage areas
- Ability to climb ladders/stairs and access elevated or below-grade equipment
- Ability to work in humid, wet, or varying-temperature environments
