Waste Treatment Plant OperatorResponsibilities: Operating wastewater treatment plant equipment, Conducting operational rounds and checklists, Conducting testing and sampling activities to ensure wastewater is properly treated, Issuing work notifications, Identify and report operational and equipment issues, Issue work permits, Managing energy-control of equipment as needed. Qualifications: Candidate must possess a current, valid Class 1, 2, 3, or 4 Virginia state Wastewater Operators license, or a current, valid license from another state with equivalent waste treatment experience.

Waste Treatment Plant OperatorResponsibilities:

• Operating wastewater treatment plant equipment,
• Conducting operational rounds and checklists,
• Conducting testing and sampling activities to ensure wastewater is properly treated,
• Issuing work notifications,
• Identify and report operational and equipment issues,
• Issue work permits,
• Managing energy-control of equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a current, valid Class 1, 2, 3, or 4 Virginia state Wastewater Operators license, or a current, valid license from another state with equivalent waste treatment experience. 
• Must be willing and able to convert licenses from another state to a Virginia license at first available opportunity.
• Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, as well as overtime as needed.
• Must be able to perform physical aspects of the role including walking, standing, climbing, etc.
