Job Responsibilities
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Obtains sample for laboratory tests and bacteria checks.
- Regulates and adjusts control devices to bring about proper chemical reaction.
- Fills out mandatory regulatory test reports and labels hazardous waste drums correctly.
- Cleans laboratory equipment and calibrates instruments.
- Prepares chemical solutions.
- Performs annual testing for customers.
Job Skills Requirements
- Computer skills
- Knowledge & use of electrostatic applications/powder coating processes/wet spray applications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Proficient communication skills
- Follow safety and environmental procedures
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements
- Paint Line experience required
- Computer skills required
- Strong understanding of chemicals required
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
- Ability to reach and/or pull for a full work shift (8-12 hours)
