Job Description
We are looking for an entry-level Wash lab Technician to support hands-on laundry product performance testing. The role involves following standard operating procedures, preparing fabrics and test materials, operating laboratory instrumentation and automation, recording test data, and maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on work
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow SOPs and testing procedures
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Laboratory or testing experience is preferred but not required
- Perform routine laundry product performance testing, including stain removal and softening tests
- Prepare and label fabrics, towels, stains, and other test materials
- Follow established washing, drying, staining, and test preparation procedures
- Operate laboratory instrumentation and automation
- Ensure stains are prepared and applied accurately
- Generate and compile testing data for scientists to analyze
- Maintain laboratory supplies and keep the wash lab clean and organized
- Work with test requesters to understand product testing requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work effectively as part of a team
