About the Role:

We are looking for a Washroom Technician to join our processing team. The ideal candidate is a cannabis concentrates enthusiast who has a strong understanding of solventless products. Previous experience working in a manufacturing or lab environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close down the wash room at the end of the day and break down/clean the wash room

• Thoroughly clean wash bags after each collection.

• There are four collections per wash and two washes per day on a typical day (8 collections).

• Prep hash to be pressed during the work day.

• Clean all work areas including but not limited to the wash room, freeze dryer room, press room, sink room, and other areas used by the solventless team within the facility.

• Wear proper PPE and follow general lab safety guidelines.

• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations as designated by the city, state, and Cannabis Regulatory Agency.

• Escalate any issues to management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an extraction technician preferred but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

• Must be able to work well with others as a team member and be self-motivated and goal oriented.

Preferred Skills & Working Conditions:

• Comfortable working in a damp, approximately 40°F environment for the majority of an 8-hour shift.

• Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours on occasion when operational needs require additional time to complete a wash cycle.

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the work day.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

• Location: Albany, NY

• Reports To: Jonathan Mojarro, General Manager

• On-Site Requirement:5 days per week in the lab

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

• Compensation: $24.00–$25.00 per hour
