Warranty Technician Summary Warranty Technician works in the Warranty Dept reporting to Warranty Manager.Position OverviewThe Sea Pro Boats Warranty Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and resolving warranty-related issues on Sea Pro boats while maintaining the quality standards expected of the Sea Pro brand. This position requires a well-rounded marine technician who understands boat construction, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical systems, rigging, fiberglass and gelcoat repair, and marine accessories.The Warranty Technician will work closely with the Warranty & Customer Service Manager, Engineering, Production, Quality Control, Sea Pro dealers, vendors, and customers when necessary to identify problems, determine root causes, complete repairs, and help prevent recurring warranty issues. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, and eye protection.Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and respirators as required.Able to drive and tow boats when authorized.Seasonal Temperatures may impact work environment.
