AC4S LLC is currently seeking a Warranty Management Specialist to join their team in Washington, DC. The Inventory and Sparing Lead will be responsible for overseeing all inventory management and sparing operations at the Northern Virginia warehouse facility, ensuring accurate real-time inventory visibility and equipment accountability in support of consular operations and COOP requirements. Administers the Government-approved COTS inventory management system, ensuring compatibility with ILMS and GTM access via a secure web-based dashboard. Coordinates system upgrades and customizations on the DOS Intranet as directed by the AAS COR and GTMs. Experience and Skills - Direct inventory management and sparing operations by maintaining accurate accountability of government assets, repair parts, and mission critical equipment in accordance with DoW policies and regulations
- Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and usage trends to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory
- Coordinate procurement, receiving, warehousing, distribution and replenishment of spare parts while ensuring compliance with federal acquisition and supply chain procedures
- Utilize enterprise resource planning and logistics systems including SAP, GCSS-Army, DPAS, Maximo or similar inventory management software
- Lead physical inventories, cycle counts and property audits, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records in support of audit readiness and accountability
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree with 10+ years of experience; OR Master of Arts/Master of Science degree with 8+ years of experience.
Physical Requirements - Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds. Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures.
- Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations.
- Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations.
- Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment.
- Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories.
- Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel. May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task.
- Equipment Operation (if applicable): Ability to safely operate non-powered material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks). No forklift operation assumed unless separately certified and required.
