Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of our warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and distribution.
• Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of the inventory system.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
• Analyze the effectiveness of warehouse operations and develop necessary operational changes.
• Plan and monitor the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure workplace's health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
• Implement cost reduction principles in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
• Conduct regular meetings with the team to discuss progress, resolve issues, and plan future actions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, logistics, and distribution.
• Proven experience with warehouse management systems and databases.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze data and provide insights for operational improvements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Certification in warehouse management or related field would be an advantage.
