    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop safe behaviors and works safely.
    • Demonstrates honesty, has a positive attitude and respect for co-workers.

    • Can accurately pick and process orders.
    • Current CDL holder (Class A).
    • Ability to complete yard checks for trailer accuracy.
    • Operates yard spotter in a safe and effective manner.
    • Executes proper trailer movements to eliminate damage to property and follow proper storage procedures.
    • Can accurately understand and execute customer specifications.
    • Can accurately read labels and has thorough understanding of trailer loading.
    • Builds pallets for orders based on knowledge of products in the warehouse.
    • Understanding of product characteristics to accurately stack items and pallets.
    • Can accurately identify damaged goods, put away of re-pack items.
    • Safely check equipment and identify any hazards to assigned work area.
    • Preforms detailed housekeeping duties in warehouse.
    • Performs troubleshooting and correcting of shipping documentation.
    • Shipping
    • Monitor shipping documents and daily reports to ensure all customer and internal requirements are met.
    • Ensures on-time and scheduled shipments are met and freight routings are reviewed.
    • Operates RF Scanners to pick orders and load trailers.
    • Ensure optimization of freight loading and shipment consolidation.
    • Receiving
    • Ensure the proper entry and storage of raw materials.
    • Assists with the daily delivery schedule.
    • Prepares and ships raw material for outside services.
    • Monitors the proper movement of stock into and within the facility.

    Education & Experience

    • 1-2 years of experience preferred, on the job training will be provided.
    • Current CDL holder (Class A).
    • Clean driving record
    • HS diploma or GED preferred any related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a shipping/warehousing environment.
    • Possess good math, reading and communication skills.
    • Ability to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift in a safe manner.
