Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role focuses on supporting daily shipping and material handling operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will load and unload trucks, handle and organize products, and ensure that all items are properly wrapped, strapped, and prepared for shipment while following safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Unload and load trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques.
+ Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including pulling equipment and products from containers.
+ Palletize products by stacking and organizing items securely on pallets for storage or shipment.
+ Wrap and strap products to ensure they are stable, protected, and ready for transport.
+ Perform heavy lifting of products and materials, including items weighing 50 pounds or more.
+ Assist with general warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting team members as needed.
+ Follow written and verbal instructions accurately to complete tasks in the correct order and to the required standard.
+ Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure correct items are handled, labeled, and prepared for shipment.
+ Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, in a safe and responsible manner once trained and authorized.
+ Support shipping and packaging activities to ensure orders are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
Essential Skills
+ 6 months to 1 year of experience in a warehouse or general labor environment.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
+ Experience with palletizing products, including stacking and organizing items on pallets.
+ Experience with wrapping products for shipment or storage.
+ Familiarity with warehouse operations such as loading, unloading, and material handling.
+ Willingness to submit to a drug test as part of the hiring process.
+ Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling and preparing products.
+ Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
+ Reliable attendance and punctuality.
+ Comfort working in a physically demanding role that involves heavy lifting and active movement throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
+ Experience in packaging and shipping processes.
+ Comfort working in varying temperature conditions, including a warm or hot warehouse environment.
+ Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
+ Openness to cross-training in different warehouse functions and tasks.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site warehouse role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The work involves heavy lifting and continuous physical activity throughout the shift. The facility is an open warehouse, so temperatures can reflect outdoor conditions, and it can become hot inside when the weather is warm; breaks and water or sports drinks are provided during high heat. You will work around warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and will begin working with forklift operations from the first day, following all safety procedures. The environment is active and hands-on, with a focus on safe material handling, packaging, and shipping operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
