Job Summary
A leading distribution and supply company in Woodridge, IL is seeking 4 Warehouse Associates to support receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping operations. This is a full-time contract opportunity working overnight shifts in a dry, climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Move boxes on and off conveyor belts
- Receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials
- Fill requisitions and orders accurately
- Pack, crate, and ship products and materials to distribution centers, departments, or assembly lines
- Operate an electric pallet jack as needed (equipment/training provided)
- Perform general warehouse duties under supervision
Required Qualifications
- 0 3 years of relevant industrial or warehouse experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs (typical lifting range is 25-30lbs)
- Familiarity with standard warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to work independently with general supervision
- Must wear closed-toe shoes and jeans (no tears or holes)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift
- Experience working in a distribution or logistics environment
About the Role
Location: Woodridge, IL (on-site)
Schedule: Sunday Thursday, 6:00 PM 2:30 AM
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Contract Duration: Approximately 12 weeks (3,360 total hours)
Travel: None required
Environment: Dry, climate-controlled warehouse setting
