You will receive and inspect items for any quality assurance issues. Attention to detail and keeping clean and organized is a must. You also might assist with efficiently unloading, moving and stocking merchandise, which ranges across a wide variety of items across all departments. You are on the front lines of ensuring our customers have an extraordinary shopping experience - without you, there would be nothing on the shelves!

Education: High school or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records is required.Experience: Six months progressively responsible general work, plus six months warehousing work or closely related work. Must complete Exchange firearms certification program with 100% success before handling firearms or ammunition and maintain certification annually.Must pass a background check and comply with all legal requirements for firearms handling. Position is subject to random drug testing.

Accurately receive, inspect, and process shipments of firearms and ammunition. Record discrepancies or damaged shipments. Initiate corrective action and complete necessary documentation (paperwork, data entry, etc.). Ensure all receiving documentation is completed and receipt acknowledged in applicable systems. Completes various merchandising reports as required.
Strictly adhere to all FFL regulations and state laws governing the sale of firearms. Ensure all necessary documentation (paperwork, data entry, etc.) is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all firearms are securely stored in locked or controlled areas using class-5 firearms storage containers or security vaults. Follow all procedures for maintaining the security of the controlled area.
Process damaged/defective merchandise returned for repair or replacement. Complete all necessary documentation (paperwork, data entry, etc.) and initiate follow-up action as necessary.
Assist with related warehouse functions for various merchandise types as needed. Assists in taking stock counts and official inventories.
Operate motor vehicles (not exceeding 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight) and forklifts (not exceeding 10,000 pounds lifting capacity) as required.
Maintain compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and security requirements within the stockroom area. Actively participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
Communicate and promote the benefits of the Military Star credit card to customers to drive sales growth.
Performs other duties as assigned.
