Hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PM -- Monday through Friday

Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring an AM Warehouse Worker. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives stock and verifies accuracy of new product
• Use of RF Scanner to replenish products from shelves and racking locations to fulfill order requirements (300-500 cases per day)
• Heavy lifting required up to 50lbs.
• Rotates stock.
• Restocks returned products.
• Operates forklift and order picker machines.
• Assists with quarterly inventories.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens boxes and other containers.
• Performs janitorial duties as needed and maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager(s)

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Forklift Certificate
