Join our team in Hanover Park, IL as a Warehouse Worker 2 - Picking (Cherry Picker Operator). In this contract role, you'll play a vital part in our daily warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. [Responsibilities]
- Accurately process and fulfill customer orders to meet daily targets
- Operate cherry pickers and other powered industrial trucks safely
- Pick, pack, receive, and ship inventory as part of a collaborative team
- Package and label shipments, including hazardous materials, per SOPs
- Maintain organized and properly stored inventory
- Complete required shipping documentation with attention to detail
[Required Skills and Experience]
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of general warehouse experience
- Proficient in operating cherry pickers/order pickers
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Basic English reading and writing skills
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals)
- Familiarity with computers and scanning equipment
