About the Role
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker 2, specializing in picking and receiving with a cherry picker. This contract role offers consistent weekday hours and the chance to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your expertise and reliability are valued.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process daily customer orders to ensure timely fulfillment
- Operate a cherry picker to pick and receive inventory efficiently
- Package, label, and document shipments according to company standards, including hazardous materials protocols
- Safely store and organize inventory for optimal accessibility and safety
- Cross-train in various warehouse functions including packing and shipping
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on warehouse experience
- Proven experience with cherry pickers and order pickers
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout the shift
- Effective communication in English (reading and writing)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with hazardous materials handling
- Familiarity with warehouse computers and scanning equipment
