Summary: Nesco Resource is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the renewable energy industry to hire a Warehouse Technician as a long-term temp. This position supports warehousing, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations within a production environment. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift(s):

• Shift 2: Monday – Thursday (4 X 10), 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Shift 3: Friday – Sunday (3 X 12), 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay:

• $20.00 – $21.00/Hour + 12% Shift Differential for both shifts

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare merchandise and materials for shipment.
• Load trucks and accurately label shipping information.
• Receive parts, materials, and other merchandise.
• Properly and accurately catalog received and shipped inventory.
• Fulfill orders for various production and research and development departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory control.
• Frequently lift, bend, pull, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and electric/manual pallet jacks.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with shipping and receiving coordinators, purchasing agents, warehouse and production supervisors, production staff, and engineering staff.
• Use Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Communicate professionally with outside vendors and customers.
• Occasionally operate hand tools.
• Assist with other warehouse activities as directed by the Warehouse Cell Leader and Materials Lead.
• Travel as required for business needs while following all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a strong safety focus at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
• Experience with Avante inventory management preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management, preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent task-oriented follow-through.
• Ability to follow direction and meet scheduling demands.
