Warehouse Technician
Location: Ogden, UT
$18.65/hr starting pay, Pay increase after 90 days
3-3-4 schedule 12-hour shifts
Smart Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to support operations in Ogden.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move and stage product safely.
- Load and unload trucks; verify incoming shipments against orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare regular shipping reports.
- Organize the warehouse; ensure all goods are properly boxed, labeled, and stored in designated locations.
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving clerks and schedule shipments with partner carriers per supervisor instructions.
- Provide professional customer service to vendors and external partners.
- Support the warehouse supervisor in their absence.
- Follow all safety, health, environmental, food safety, and GMP guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1+ year of forklift experience and 1+ year in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in refrigerated environments as needed.
Schedule
Two shifts available 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3-3-4 schedule
