Material Handler

This position supports pharmaceutical manufacturing operations by ensuring raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and waste are safely transported throughout the facility. The Warehouse Technician plays a critical role in keeping production on schedule by staging materials, supporting manufacturing activities, managing waste handling operations, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
* Transport raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and waste throughout the facility to support production operations
* Stage, weigh, and pre-package raw materials according to production requirements
* Deliver materials to manufacturing areas and coordinate with production personnel to ensure materials are available when needed
* Move intermediate and finished products between production areas, storage locations, and controlled environments
* Retrieve and stage drums, totes, containers, and other materials used in manufacturing operations
* Manage waste collection activities and transport waste containers to designated storage areas
* Maintain organization, housekeeping, and compliance within waste handling and storage areas
* Support tank farm operations including filling, transferring, emptying, and cleaning tanks as required
* Pull, prepare, and stage finished products for outbound shipments
* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintain inventory accuracy and communicate material shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns to appropriate personnel
* Follow company procedures and regulatory requirements related to chemical handling, shipping, safety, and security
* Maintain work areas in an organized, clean, and audit-ready condition




Requirements
* Starting pay: $25.00 per hour
* 12-hour Day Shift on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
* Includes every other weekend
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field
* Pharmaceutical, chemical, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
* Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operations
* Ability to safely handle, transport, and stage chemical materials
* Forklift experience required; ability to obtain and maintain certification
* Familiarity with chemical safety practices, PPE requirements, and hazardous material handling
* Ability to read and interpret SDS/MSDS documentation
* Basic computer proficiency
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
