Description
- Additional $$ given based on previous experience and education!
- +$3/hr for 2nd and 3rd shift
- +$3/hr on weekends
Offer FULL TIME and PART TIME for:
- 1st shift (approx. 6-7 am until 2-3 pm)
- 2nd shift (approx. 3-4 pm until 11 pm-12 am)
- 3rd shift (approx. 10-11 pm until 6-7 am)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow Menards safety policies and procedures
- Safely operate forklift or other machinery
- Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision
- Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics
- Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
- Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
- Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
- Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
- Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system
- Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
- Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle
- Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting.
- Environment can include temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; 70 lbs. occasionally.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Warehouse experience preferred but not required
