Warehouse Team Leader

£35,000 per annum. BS16 Pucklechurch, South Glos - Permanent position working 7am to 4.30pm, Mon to Fri. Benefits include 30 days holiday, Pension and On-site parking.

The warehouse team leader is a new role within a growing organisation, offering good opportunities for career progression and the chance to make a real impact in overseeing the warehouse operations of a small team, ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate management of daily activities. The role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can lead by example, driving high standards of performance, and continuous improvement to ensure on time and accurate dispatch for customers. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities for the warehouse team leader will involve:

  • Provide positive leadership to the warehouse team, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company values.
  • Oversee performance monitoring and productivity, including training and onboarding of any new staff.
  • Coordinate and plan all warehouse activities to ensure goods are received and dispatched on time and in full (OTIF).
  • Oversee accurate goods-in processes and maintain organised storage systems, including preparation for repacking and ongoing distribution.
  • Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately and within deadlines, meeting required quality standards.
  • Manage storage and inventory systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date computerised stock records.
  • Support the Operations Manager by liaising with logistics partners, contractors, third parties, and internal teams.
  • Maintain all required paperwork and documentation in line with established processes and compliance requirements.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Health & Safety policies.
  • Ensuring maintenance of all Health & Safety related checks and procedures.
