$22.00 - $28.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary
A growing distribution and warehouse operation in the Douglasville/Lithia Springs area is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Team Lead to join its team.
We are seeking dependable professionals with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a positive team-oriented attitude. This role requires an individual who can effectively lead daily operations while maintaining a safe, productive, and efficient work environment.
Candidates must have 3-5+ years of stable, verifiable warehouse leadership experience.
Candidates must be available to start as early as 5:30 AM - 5:45 AM to conduct daily startup meetings and prepare the team for a successful day.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead daily warehouse operations, including Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control, and other operational functions.
Conduct daily team meetings and communicate goals, priorities, and expectations.
Assign work, prioritize tasks, and support employee workflow throughout the shift.
Ensure products are accurately received, processed, stored, and shipped according to quality standards.
Enforce all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Utilize continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Train and cross-train team members on job duties and company procedures.
Monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance needs when necessary.
Assist with attendance tracking, scheduling, and employee development.
Coach employees and provide performance feedback.
Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
3-5+ years of stable, verifiable warehouse leadership experience
Previous experience leading teams in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Computer proficiency required
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and warehouse management systems preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
Frequently lift up to 25 pounds
Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Stand and walk for extended periods during a 9-10 hour shift
Bend, squat, crouch, reach, and climb steps as needed
Push and pull materials and equipment safely
Work Environment
Work conditions may include:
Seasonal hot and cold temperatures
Warehouse noise, dust, humidity, and odors
Exposure to warehouse equipment and mechanical hazards
Strict adherence to all safety procedures
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
