Warehouse Support Clerk & Driver

Job Summary

The Senior Warehouse Support Clerk / Driver supports daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory organization, material handling, and local deliveries and pickups. This position ensures that materials, products, and hardware are properly prepared, staged, loaded, transported, and delivered safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will help maintain an organized, safe, and operationally ready warehouse while supporting production schedules and customer deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments for domestic and local delivery.
• Verify that products are packaged correctly and securely to prevent damage.
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks.
• Assemble hardware kits and prepare materials for production and shipment.
• Coordinate order priorities to support production schedules and customer deadlines.
• Stage and organize orders for shipping and internal departments.
• Support receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, and inventory stocking.
• Maintain material readiness for production and warehouse operations.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist with inventory organization and stock replenishment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and battery maintenance on warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accountability for warehouse tools and equipment.
• Support warehouse leadership and management with daily operational needs.
• Coordinate shipping activities and communicate shipment status when needed.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Follow and uphold 5S standards throughout the facility.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Complete local deliveries, pickups, and material transportation assignments.
• Support special projects and other warehouse operations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to organize work and adjust priorities based on operational needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with production, warehouse, and management teams.

Work Schedule and Travel

The schedule may vary based on operational requirements. Flexibility is required as needed to ensure pickups and deliveries are completed on time. Local travel is required.

Work Environment

This position regularly works near moving mechanical equipment and may involve working in elevated areas. Employees may occasionally be exposed to wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration. The workplace noise level is generally moderate.

Required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, must be worn in designated areas.
