Warehouse Supervisor
Hours: Full-time, 2nd Shift, 3 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Salary: $75k+ annually
A leading manufacturer has partnered with our staffing agency to hire an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor for 2nd shift. In this role, you will lead daily floor operations, drive safety standards, and keep inbound and outbound inventory moving smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct, train, and mentor warehouse staff to consistently hit safety, accuracy, and throughput targets.
- Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and staging to ensure complete order accuracy and timely distribution.
- Perform regular cycle counts and stock audits; troubleshoot discrepancies to maintain rigorous inventory records.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, conducting safety walk-throughs and promoting a zero-incident culture.
- Continuously evaluate floor layouts and workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate freight carrier appointments and delivery schedules to meet tight dispatch deadlines.
- Track daily metrics on productivity, stock levels, and team performance, presenting concise status updates to management.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of proven warehouse supervision or lead experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Education & Credentials: High school diploma or GED required; relevant coursework or certifications in logistics or supply chain preferred.
- Familiarity with modern Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), barcode scanning systems, and standard material handling equipment.
- Exceptional organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities under time-sensitive constraints.
- Clear verbal and written interpersonal skills across cross-functional shifts and dispatch partners.
Compensation
- $75k or more, depending on experience
