EFC International is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse shipping and production orders teams. This role is responsible for overseeing all outbound warehouse operations, including production order processing, kitting, bagging, plating coordination, order picking, packing, freight and parcel shipping, and delivery/VMI driver activities. This role is responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, fulfilled efficiently, and shipped on time while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and customer service. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills are essential. Experience in the construction or fastener industries is a plus.
What You’ll Do
• Provide daily leadership and direction to the Production Orders, Parcel Packing, Strut Accessories, LTL Packing, West Dock, Order Pulling, Truck Shipping, Delivery Driver, and VMI Driver teams and their Leads.
• Oversee production order processing (bagging, kitting, plating coordination) to ensure orders are built accurately and on schedule.
• Manage order pulling operations across LTL, parcel, and will-call order types to meet daily pick schedules.
• Oversee packing operations (parcel, strut accessories, LTL) for accuracy, packaging standards, and on-time readiness for shipment.
• Manage outbound truck/freight (LTL/TL) shipping, including carrier coordination, load scheduling, and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate delivery driver and VMI driver activities, including route/schedule coverage and VMI setup requirements.
• Monitor outbound service levels (on-time ship, order accuracy, shipping errors) and escalate capacity or staffing risks to the Warehouse Manager.
• Balance coverage across multiple outbound functions during peak volume, call-ins, or absences.
• Ensure warehouse work is completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.
• Manage daily floor coverage, including call-ins, absences, workload balancing, and shifting resources as needed.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for employee questions, operational issues, and work prioritization.
• Review and manage employee timecards, attendance items, and related daily labor tracking responsibilities.
• Conduct regular floor walkthroughs to monitor productivity, safety, quality, housekeeping, and adherence to processes.
• Partner with leads and warehouse employees to remove obstacles and keep work moving.
• Develop and mentor employees by providing coaching, guidance, and feedback that fosters growth in performance, productivity, safety, quality, teamwork, and accountability.
• Document and communicate employee performance concerns, attendance issues, and process gaps to the Warehouse Manager.
• Assist with performance conversations, corrective action preparation, and employee development plans as needed.
• Help train new and existing employees on warehouse procedures, expectations, systems, and best practices.
• Support implementation of standard operating procedures and help drive consistency across work areas.
• Partner with the Warehouse Manager on transition planning, team communication, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a professional, fair, and consistent leadership approach with all employees.
